Yeah, I have no idea wtf SVU was about. I actually TRIED to make sense of it, but it didn't work. On the Alex front, she did have a fair amount of screen time, but her hair was really flat for the first bit of it, which hampered my enjoyment. Her hair improves a bit towards the end and she wears a low-cut shirt, so I was pleased. Evidently it's the norm now for her to look tired, annoyed, and like she hates her life and especially the DA's office. Probably because she knows MISCHA BARTON is going to be on the show soon.

- There was a judge that appeared for the first time and she is TOTALLY A COUGAR. Or Alex's mom. Seriously, I bet that one has had threesomes with Donnelly and Petrovsky and then came home and admired A.J.'s macaroni project.
- If you're an A/O shipper, you'll probably notice many "meaningful glances" Alex gives Olivia while Olivia's talking, but if you look closely, it's totally because SM is anticipating the next line and who says it. Watch the group scenes if you don't believe me. Oh, SM.
My paid account expires in two weeks, I think, which means I'll be downgrading to a basic, which means I only get six icons. Thus from now the ICON CAGED STEEL MATCH begins! Which icons get to stay? Which get discarded like pieces of last night's hooker after I squeezed my hands around her neck a teeny bit too hard when I came and so I had to bring out the chainsaw? THOSE ARE THE QUESTIONS, GUYS.
(I'm leaving this entry public because because I think the TRUE FANS of SVU would enjoy my dismembered hooker bit.) (Please note the hooker does not have a penis.)

1. Doctor's visit was exhausting. With travel in traffic both ways--including 22 minutes to get out of the effing parking garage--and waiting 20 minutes extra for my appointment, plus the stop at the drugstore for all the meds, it took just over four hours. Jeepers, the afternoon was a trial.
Basically, I am not going to feel at all better for at least three weeks; in fact, my stomach is likely to feel worse while I am on the combined antibiotics and omeprazole (AKA prilosec). I just have to hang in there. Then I can work on correcting the anemia.
2. So, my second mother is going to be a sweetheart and bring me home a slice of tres leches cake from her dinner out tonight (I declined on grounds of fatigue). *drools in anticipation* and also *struggles to stay up long enough to eat it*
3. Did I mention that we only have THREE more episodes of Inspector Morse left? It only took us a year to get this far. And then on 1/26, the two-series DVD set of Lewis will be shipped. I am excited.
4. Did I tell you I am toying with the thought of going with my second mother to the ex-family wedding...in July in Cornwall? Going to Tintagel is sooo tempting.
5. There is a new kind of Altoid: Honey. I bought a box. Mmmminty. :)

this video seems fitting as patd and blink are both getting back to new music… if there are genuine friends out there here are some. +44 wasnt able to play due to a family emergency and panic happened to be in town. they learned a bunch of stuff in a day. pretty rad. old memories- knowing that they both have a future once again. stoked.

2. My baking plans for the day were defeated by sleepiness. I also almost washed the same load of laundry twice, which would be a good way to never be finished with laundry. (I also-also need to clean my abominably messy bedroom. Oh, well, someday I will either get to it or suffocate like the hoarder in training I am).

Over the past week, Mark Hoppus and Pete Wentz have rekindled their Twitter relationship (the same passionate affair that gave us the famed "Octo-Drive" last year), penning a series of odes to one another that mentioned "crazy-ass sandwiches" and, more notably, some mysterious new songs the two were collaborating on.
The tweets had fans of Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy salivating. With both bands in between projects at the moment (will this be the year we finally get the new Blink record?), speculation was rampant about what the two were up to. Well, we have the answer. In an e-mail to MTV News, Wentz revealed that he and Hoppus had completed a song for the soundtrack to Tim Burton's upcoming "Alice in Wonderland," the same soundtrack that features a new song from All Time Low.
"We did a song for 'Alice in Wonderland,' [and we] might do a few more depending on when [Mark] goes in with Blink. [It] sounds nothing like Blink or Fall Out Boy. Mark understands songwriting on a completely different level. It's awesome to have a chance to sit in a room with him and watch him work out a melody."
Wentz added that, though he and Hoppus plan to record more songs, this isn't the beginning of some new supergroup. It's more like two friends getting together and jamming. After all, both of them have rather open schedules at the moment.
"It's just for fun. It's not a band or even a project at this state," Wentz wrote. "I think between me getting Starbuck's on TMZ and him gearing up for a summer of Blink, we have a lot on our hands."
A spokesperson for Walt Disney Records — who will be releasing the soundtrack — told MTV News that at the moment, no track list has been confirmed but an announcement will be made "in the coming weeks."

A spokesperson for Walt Disney Records — who will be releasing the soundtrack — told MTV News that at the moment, no track list has been confirmed but an announcement will be made "in the coming weeks."
