I find your self-conscious pretention utterly precious. How did you steal my BS-o-meter and when can I have it back? I need it for real life things). Sorry in advance (also to my yoga class on Sunday, who might have to witness me doing asanas in the t-shirt. At least it's not as loud as the Hemmy faces one?).

1. I'm going to buy a new iPod on Saturday. I'm going to call it Patrick: Part Deux (yeah, it got old, but I like old jokes), and buy it a swank Clan jacket, 'cause I'm fuckin' classy like that.

(I bought the unravelling tapes shirt at BND:PD, because it was the very least ugly thing they had that would fit me, and I loved that shirt, okay, despite it still being pretty bloody ugly, and heather grey, which is a terrible colour on most people including me, and THEN. The laundry guy put it in with my BRIGHT RED "The Communist Party" shirt and now it's marbled sort of cotton candy!puke pink? Like that poor goddamn shirt needed more obstacles in life, after being manufactured ugly as fuck. Christ on a cracker. Probably I should be learning a class lesson from this, but mostly I'm just angry and sad.)

2. estrellada and I bleached/dyed bits of my hair last night. I don't know about this, guys. On the one hand, I can't take pictures to show you how and why I'm unsure about it, because it doesn't even show up in pictures. On the other hand, I think we left the bleach on too long and now parts of my hair are kind of teal, which is so many universes of unwanted, oh my god. But hey, I have hats. And it will grow back the same old boring brown it was before, so no worries. Also, probably mixing the blue and red or something might look better. Who knows! The world of temporary dyes is labyrinthine and mysterious to me.

4. HIIIIIIIIIIII. I HAD COFFEE TODAY AND DIDN'T SLEEP VERY WELL LAST NIGHT. BYEEEEEEEEEEE.

Two oldish/obscure FOB interviews: Joe (December 2003; notable for Joe wanting you to say no to heroin!!!), and Patrick (February 2005; notable for being conducted during the UK tour where Pete wasn't, and also for Patrick being a rambling rambler who rambles and makes no sense. And Prince).

I suppose it's good I found these, not just 'cause they're neat, but because I went to put them in my FOB ma.gnolia, and discovered that ma.gnolia is no more. It would've been nice of them to e-mail me with this news. At the address I supplied to them every time I logged in to the damn thing. Ugh. So many random interviews, gone. And some good non-LJ fic, too. Bleh.

In another vein: "Sizeism in Fandom - My Thoughts," a post prompted by an spn_j2_bigbang story that I saw, upchucked a little over, and then didn't say anything about. I'm wondering why I didn't, now.

(Also, tiiiiiny quibble with the above post--she says we talk about gender in fandom, but we don't. We really don't. Recently, somebody posted a whinier version of my ancient open letter regarding "genderswap"--??? We don't talk about gender in fandom. We talk about sexism, feminism, misogyny, gender in our source texts, and whatever the fuck "community of women" means, but we don't talk about gender in fandom itself. If we talked about gender, we wouldn't be talking about cisgender women all the time. Just saying.)

And then Tillie and I slept until noon/one o'clock and had big breakfast with tasty bison sausage and watched some SPN and about fifteen minutes of The Ten Commandments (oops, sorry) and talked about things and things and things. She is a good brother, yo.

So, yes. House was really difficult last night, and what I have to say about it isn't for you right now, if ever.

I know there are a lot of people in the world who are not in the least into shipping Pete and Ashlee IRL (on my very own flist, even! Gasp!), but I do. So very hard. It is really wonderful when people who are so obviously suited have an opportunity to be together. Just think: one pee fetishist and one kid with body image issues off the market!

I wish I had time to watch LOTMS before I pick up estrellada this afternoon. I's on the rag, and that thing always makes me feel better. Sigh.

(Incidentally, LOTMS is at least a magnitude more awesome than the Pansy Division documentary. Because the PD one is called Life in a Gay Rock Band, but it's just, like, the story of the band. It's not about being in a rock band at all, let alone a gay one. Whereas LOTMS has the backstory and the frontstory and--MCR. Granted, you can't blame PD for not having made their movie about MCR. Still.)

Re: BND show outfit. It's down to homemade Cobra Starship shirt, "FOB IS A GANG" shirt (which, idk, the grammar hurts my heart, but at least if I'm wearing it I don't have to look at it?), HCT shirt (except I should probably retire it before it gets any more pinholes), or Hemmy shirt. *hands*

GUYS, GUYS. Pete camwhored a new Clan shirt and it is a HUFFLEPUFF COWBOY SHIRT.

Those who know me well enough to ever be in a clothing store with me (so...estrellada) know my age-old search for things either non-stupid argyle and/or black-and-yellow (The Holy Grail is: black-and-yellow argyle, natch). It is very hard to find these things! And yet! Pete made me a cowboy shirt (I know the post says he did it for Brendon, but whatever. Obviously it's for Hufflepuffs EVERYWHERE)!

It is made of light cotton! It has pearl buttons! The world is a better place for it existing! I wants it!

My last merch purch for the next while (or, you know, until I can't stand not having one of the Community shirts, or a Team Hemingway jersey from Clandestine; fucking Wentz) came today! It is: this!
